A piano has keys on it and there are 88 keys in total: 52 white keys and 36 black keys. Keyboards can be different sizes so the number of the keys may change depending on the size of the keyboard. Most of the keyboards have 66 keys. The white keys on the piano and keyboard are for the main notes which are A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. The black keys are for the sharp and flat notes which are Ab, A#, Bb, C#, Db, D#, Eb, F#, Gb, and G#.
